Job Objective:
The objective of the position is to develop and maintain an effective and efficient operations technology infrastructure by joining IoT, OT, and IT to support operational and company goals.
Job Description:
You will need a positive attitude and an approachable style. Your job will change from day to day (based on the current state of existing systems and the needs of the business) but should consist of the following duties. You would be responsible for the control, efficient performance, and maintenance of the industrial equipment and systems on site. You've got to be interested in the nitty gritty of technology for this role. You will continuously work with other teams to build the database backbone of the production systems. You would be expected to answer questions about PLCs and plan for the future of the HMI network. You'll also need to be motivated and very detail oriented.
Responsibilities
Job Duties:
Maintain and troubleshoot operations technology infrastructure, including Stratix switches, PLCs, HMIs, SQL databases, and other control system componentsProvide technical support of site operations technology infrastructurePLC controls network design, configuration, and maintenanceCybersecurity for PLCs and other industrial equipmentAllen Bradley / Rockwell software implementationAsset managementCritical production components alertsSQL data warehouse (history, trending, dashboards)Project coordination with engineering, maintenance, and ITContinuous improvement and planning for business needs

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, apply common sense and solve practical problems. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions or information furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
