Perform diagnostic radiographic, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound or special procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, state and federal regulations.
Function as the first line interface with customers.
Be successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
Participate in PI/QC activities.
Assist in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program.
Oversee the radiology area and/or staff in Manager/Director absence.
Maintain department supplies.
Promote teamwork and good customer service.
Complete scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintain supplies and equipment for assigned sub department.
Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Education and Work
Experience:
Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
National certifications in two modalities (X-Ray and CT) or a Tech I with requirement to get CT certification within one year of hire to transition to a Tech II.
Current BLS (AHA).
Must be familiar with state and federal regulations.
One year of acute clinical radiography, preferred.
Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES.
Proficient computer skills.
