Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan applications and financial documents to determine creditworthiness of potential borrowers - Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant information to assess risk and make lending decisions - Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide appropriate lending solutions - Structure loan packages and negotiate terms and conditions with borrowers - Monitor loan portfolios to ensure compliance with loan agreements and identify potential risks - Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and legal, to facilitate the loan approval process - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to inform lending decisions - Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process - Cross-sell ancillary products and services of the bank; deposit accounts and cash management - Understanding of credit terms such as cost, loan repayment methods and collateral specifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field - 2 to 3 Years of previous experience in lending - Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial data and make informed decisions - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues - Knowledge of basic math principles and proficiency in using 10-key typing for accurate data entry - Familiarity with loan documentation and contract terms - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Job Type:
