Senior Electrical Project Engineer

Cleveland-Cliffs, Coshocton Works, located in East Central Ohio, a stainless finishing operation and one of the nation's leading producers of flat rolled stainless steel, has an immediate opening for an Senior Electrical Project Engineer at our Coshocton Works facility. The Senior Electrical Project Engineer will be for responsible for plant utilities including incoming power and distribution, assisting maintenance, troubleshooting, production unit enhancements and capital projects. This position will direct maintenance, contractor and service personnel. Primary
Responsibilities:
Identification of process improvements and/or critical equipment/facility replacements as may be necessary for the facilities/processes to produce a quality and competitive commercial product Management of projects including small minor equipment upgrades to large capital investments. Development and successful implementation of project engineering activities in connection with physical and technical aspects of plant operations, maintenance, facility improvements and capital equipment additions Technical investigations, studies, problem review, new and proposed equipment, materials, processes and facilities and provide sound engineering evaluations and recommendations of proposed actions Manage contractors, outside engineers, and vendors to aid in the implementation projects. Develop cost, benefits, plans for installations, and training needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology 10-15
years of experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred Ability to coordinate and execute a multitude of projects with minimal supervision within the allotted time and budget Excellent communication, analytical and time management skills Strong computer skills Experience in a steelmaking facility or similar heavy manufacturing environment preferred Experience with all types of motor control systems. D.C. motors, MG set controls, SCR controls, A.C. VFD. Drive tuning and installation experience preferred Experience with Reliance AutoMax and Allen Bradley control platforms preferred PLC design, programming, installation, and troubleshooting experience preferred GE programming experience with Series 6, 9070, 9030, and RXi recommended.
