This position provides management and leadership to the plant quality systems function. The primary responsibilities include managing and developing a staff of quality professionals; setting and executing quality strategies; implementing effective and efficient quality programs within the Oscar Mayer internal manufacturing network; aligning resources to support problem resolution; establish and manage the plant food safety and quality agenda; and serving as a technical resource as relates to meat products and/or ingredients. This position will also provide leadership in new product or process implementation and will maintain regular reviews and improvement agenda for plant quality systems.
Position offers the candidate to develop/enhance skills in Decision Quality, Risk Assessment & Management, Standing Alone, and Influencing without authority.
Responsibilities
This role involves managing multiple objectives and assuring the safety and quality of all products that leave the manufacturing facility while balancing the needs of production
Must enable and maintain a culture of quality awareness and compliance in the plant
Ensures that products are produced to specification to meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements via system implementations, training and auditing
Ensure regulatory and company compliance requirements through implementation of USDA/ QCMS/FSSC22000
Manage regulatory relationships and inspections
Facilitate achievement of customer and consumer expectations
Lead risk management and continuous product/process quality improvement activities
Provide technical analysis and input for decision making
Align with plant productivity goals and manage quality department budget
Develop functional/technical skills of quality team and site employees
Hire and develop people in the quality/sanitation talent pipeline
Communicate site quality vision/state of quality to plant/BU
Bachelor's Degree in Meat Science, Food Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, R&D, oroperations, which includes meat and poultry processing experience.
Green Belt/Black Belt or applicable Lean 6 Sigma application experience
Experience with ISO, and/or FSSC 22000 beneficial.
Capable of managing multiple priorities and plants.
Ability to influence key internal and external business partners, assess and manage risk, and communicate across the supply chain required.
Willing to travel 10%.
Understanding of manufacturing conversion, logistics operations, procurement, commercialization, process capability, and regulatory/health authorities management
Ability to build risk assessment/management perspective and skills
Understanding of plant information systems - SAP (BIReporting), Quality Suite, VOICE, Meridian
Ability to link BU(s) objectives to the management of plant quality systems

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
